Which Instagram links work
Paste the link of a public Reel or video post. Addresses such as instagram.com/reel/…, instagram.com/p/… and instagram.com/tv/… are supported, including links copied from the app with extra text at the end.
Profiles, Stories, Highlights, live videos and posts from private accounts cannot be downloaded. If a post mixes photos and videos, VidsToGo lists the videos it contains so you can choose one.
How to save an Instagram Reel on your phone
In the Instagram app, open the Reel, tap the share icon and choose Copy link. Open VidsToGo in your browser, paste the link and tap Download. On iPhone, Safari saves the MP4 in the Downloads folder of the Files app; open it, tap Share and choose Save Video to add it to Photos. On Android, the file is saved in Downloads and usually appears in your gallery.
On a computer
Open the Reel or post on instagram.com and copy the address from the browser bar. Paste it above, preview the video and choose the MP4 download.
Save a Reel's audio or only part of it
Choose Audio to convert the sound of a Reel to MP3, or Clip to keep a section between 0.5 seconds and 2 minutes. Both options work with videos up to 10 minutes long, and MP3 conversion needs a video with an audio track.
Several Reels at once
Select Multiple links and paste up to 20 Reel or post links, one per line. Each video is prepared separately and you download each file individually.
Why a Reel does not load
The account may be private, the post may have been deleted, or Instagram may limit access by age or region. Instagram can also temporarily block automated requests; wait a few minutes and try again. Prepared links expire after 15 minutes.

Frequently asked questions
Can I download Instagram Stories or Highlights?
No. Stories, Highlights and live videos are not supported. Use the link of a public Reel or video post.
Can I save a Reel from a private account?
No. VidsToGo only accesses public posts and never asks for your Instagram login.
Can I download the sound of a Reel as MP3?
Yes. Choose Audio: the MP3 contains the audio track of the video, for Reels up to 10 minutes long.
What about posts with several videos?
VidsToGo lists the videos in the post so you can download the one you want. Photos in the post are not downloaded.
What quality will the MP4 have?
You get the MP4 version that Instagram provides for the post. VidsToGo does not increase the original resolution.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
