Does 320 kbps sound better?
Only if the source has that much detail, and on X it usually does not. In the public X videos with sound that we checked on September 29, 2026, the audio in the best MP4 was AAC at about 128 kbps or less (lower for videos under 720p), and the lower qualities carried about 32 to 64 kbps. VidsToGo always converts the audio of the best MP4. A 320 kbps MP3 made from it is larger, not clearer. To keep exactly what X serves, choose M4A · original: the AAC track is copied as it is, with no second compression.
The source must include an audio track and be no longer than 10 minutes. A silent video cannot produce an audio file, and GIFs on X have no sound. If the post includes several videos, choose the one with the audio you want. Temporary files are removed after the download finishes or fails.
Convert a Twitter video to MP3 on iPhone, Android or PC
iPhone and iPad
In the X app, tap Share on the post and choose Copy link. Open VidsToGo in Safari, keep Audio selected, paste the link and tap Get audio. Choose an audio quality and tap Download MP3, or Download M4A for the original audio. Safari saves the file in the Downloads folder of the Files app, where you can play it or share it to another app.
Android
Copy the post link from the X app, paste it here in Chrome or another browser and tap Get audio, then Download MP3. The file is saved in your Downloads folder and opens with any music or files app.
Windows, Mac or Chromebook
Copy the post address from the browser bar, paste it above and select Get audio. Download the MP3 when it is ready and find it in your browser's downloads.
How to save audio from several posts
Keep Audio selected, choose Multiple links, and paste one post link per line. Prepare the list, then select Download MP3 for the videos you want. Each conversion is separate; follow the batch guide for partial failures and retries.
What if a video has no sound?
Check its preview before converting. The tool extracts an existing audio track; it cannot add sound to a silent video. To keep a silent video, choose its MP4 download instead.

Frequently asked questions
Which MP3 quality should I choose?
192 kbps suits most listening and is selected by default. Choose 128 kbps for a smaller file, such as a podcast clip or speech. Choose M4A · original to keep X's audio exactly as it is.
Is 320 kbps better than 192 kbps for X videos?
Usually not. In the X videos we checked, the best MP4 carried AAC audio at about 128 kbps or less (lower for videos under 720p). Converting it to 320 kbps makes a larger file but cannot add detail that is not in the source.
What is the M4A · original option?
It saves the AAC audio track from the video without re-encoding it, in an M4A file. It keeps the source quality exactly and plays on iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows. If a video's audio is not AAC, choose an MP3 quality instead.
Can I get the sound of a Twitter GIF?
No. GIFs on X have no sound. In the GIF posts we checked on September 29, 2026, X served each GIF as an MP4 without an audio track. To save the loop itself, use the Twitter GIF downloader.
Why is my MP3 silent or not available?
The video may have no audio track, or the post may contain a GIF. Check the preview before converting: the tool extracts an existing track and cannot add sound.
Do I need an app or an X account?
