How to convert a Twitter video to MP3

Extract an existing audio track

VidsToGo converts the audio in a Twitter or X video into an MP3 at 192 kbps. The source must include an audio track and be no longer than 10 minutes. Conversion does not improve the quality of the original recording.

A silent video cannot produce an MP3. If the post includes several videos, choose the one with the audio you want. Conversion may take a moment, and temporary files are removed after the download finishes or fails.

How to save audio from several posts

Keep Audio selected, choose Multiple links, and paste one post link per line. Prepare the list, then select Download MP3 for the videos you want. Each conversion is separate; follow the batch guide for partial failures and retries.

What if a video has no sound?

Check its preview before converting. The tool extracts an existing audio track; it cannot add sound to a silent video. To keep a silent video, choose its MP4 download instead.

Which Twitter links can I download?

Use a link to a public Twitter or X post containing a video. Private, deleted, or restricted posts may not be available.

Can I prepare several links at once?

Can I download a video in HD?

Choose from the qualities shown with each video. The available resolutions depend on the original video published on X.

Can I save just the audio?

Select Audio above, paste a post link, then click Download MP3 to convert the video's audio. The source must contain an audio track and be no longer than 10 minutes. Conversion may take a moment.

How do I trim a video?

Select Clip above before pasting a link, or click Create clip below a video. Drag the two handles to choose the start and end. Preview your selection and click Download clip. For exact times, open Fine-tune times. Clips can be 0.5 seconds to 2 minutes long, from videos up to 10 minutes.

Does this work on a phone?

Yes. Use VidsToGo in your phone's browser. Your browser decides where to save the file, usually in your Downloads folder.

Why can't I download a video?

Check that the post is public and contains a video. If X restricts access or the service is busy, wait a moment and try again. Download links expire, so you may need to get the video again.
