Save Twitter videos in the best MP4 quality available
VidsToGo lists every MP4 version that X provides for a public post, for example 360p, 720p or 1080p when the original upload has that resolution. Choosing a higher label does not increase the video's original quality. Posts with several videos show a separate download for each one.
Prepared download links expire after 15 minutes. If a link expires, paste the post again.
How to save a Twitter video on iPhone, Android or PC
iPhone and iPad
In the X app, tap Share on the post and choose Copy link. Open VidsToGo in Safari, paste the link and tap Download. Safari saves the MP4 in the Downloads folder of the Files app. To add it to Photos, open the video in Files, tap Share and choose Save Video.
Android
Tap Share on the post, then Copy link. Paste the link here in Chrome or another browser and tap Download. The MP4 goes to your Downloads folder and usually appears in your gallery or Files app.
Windows, Mac or Chromebook
Open the post and copy the address from the browser bar; it contains /status/ followed by a number. Paste it above, choose a quality and find the file in your browser's downloads.

To save a live stream, use the Twitter (X) live recorder. Paste an x.com/i/broadcasts/ link, start recording and download an MP4 of up to 30 minutes.
How to download multiple Twitter videos

Where is the saved video?
Check your browser's downloads list to open the file or find its location. If the video opens in a player instead, check that you selected the download button rather than the preview. Save the file before its prepared link expires.

Which Twitter links can I download?
Use a public Twitter or X video post link, or an accessible public X broadcast link. Private, deleted, or restricted content may not be available.
Do I need an app or an X account?
No. VidsToGo works in the browser on iPhone, Android and computers. You do not need an X account, an app or a browser extension.
Can I record an X live broadcast?
Yes. Open the Twitter (X) live recorder, paste the broadcast link and start recording. Each recording can last up to 30 minutes.
Can I download a video from a private account?
No. Only public posts can be accessed. Protected accounts, deleted posts and restricted content are not available.
Can I prepare several links at once?

Can I download a video in HD?
Choose from the qualities shown with each video. The available resolutions depend on the original video published on X.
Can I save just the audio?
Select Audio above, paste a post link, then click Download MP3 to convert the video's audio. The source must contain an audio track and be no longer than 10 minutes. Conversion may take a moment.
How do I trim a video?
Select Clip above before pasting a link, or click Create clip below a video. Drag the two handles to choose the start and end. Preview your selection and click Download clip. For exact times, open Fine-tune times. Clips can be 0.5 seconds to 2 minutes long, from videos up to 10 minutes.
Does this work on a phone?
Yes. Use VidsToGo in your phone's browser. Your browser decides where to save the file, usually in your Downloads folder.
Why can't I download a video?
Check that the post is public and contains a video. If X restricts access or the service is busy, wait a moment and try again. Download links expire, so you may need to get the video again.
